We appreciate the recognition of our technology by our fellow competitor Symless Synergy who even pays advertisement money.
However, we have to set straight Symless' misleading statements (as of 01/23/2023).
Synergy's Misleading Comparison
While it is typical for competitive comparisons to pick only features that allegedly stand-out, the comparison of even the features selected by Symless is misleading:
- ShareMouse can very well swap keys.
- ShareMouse allows you to define hotkeys.
- The alleged network security advantage is debunked by the very technical article, Symless is referring to:
"(AES) cannot be relied upon if different entities control the server and the end devices." – This just doesn't apply to ShareMouse.
"If a manufacturer controls all devices, then AES presents a lower maintenance option (..) if the devices need to communicate to public APIs, then TLS is necessary." – ShareMouse does not communicate with "public APIs" at all.
